Some Accomodations Are Better Suited To Trailering Boats To And Some Are Closer To The Water Than Others. I Have Tried To Include As Much Location Info As Possible With Each. I Would Suggest Checking Them Out Further Online For Rates And Reviews Before Making A Descision On Where To Stay. I Do Not Have All Of The Area Lodgings Listed, But Have Picked Out The Most Obvious Choices.

Quality Inn - 12711 Old Stage Road, Chester VA
Located just south of the Rt.10/Hopewell exit off 95. Racetrack Gas Station Right Across the street, Hardees across the road, Hooters and other restaurants are less than a mile away. The Dutch Gap ramp is about a mile and the Hopewell Ramp is about 4 miles. Castaway's Sporting Goods and Pat's Sporting Goods are both close by. Good parking for trailers.
Ameri Suites - 13148 Kingston Ave, Chester VA - (804) 530-4600
Located On Rt.10 near 295 right between the Hopewell and Dutch Gap ramps. Wawa and Exxon Gas stations right next to the hotel as well as a McDonalds and Wendy's. Good parking for trailers.
The Evergreen Motel - 711 W Randolph Rd, Hopewell VA - (804) 458-8577
Located right above the Hopewell Marina just across the bridge on Rt. 10. To be honest, this one is kind of a rat-hole. Stay here only if you have to and I wouldn't park my boat and trailer here unless I planned on sleeping in it to guard it. Sad that the city allows this eyesore to persist. There is a Subway restaurant right beside it and the hospital is right there too in case you get shot.

Econo Lodge - 4096 Oaklawn Blvd, Hopewell, VA 23860 - (804) 541-4849
Located just off the 295 Hopewell Exit 36 E. A Wawa gas station is right across the road and a good pizza/italian restaurant (Rosa's) as well as a mexican restaurant right next to it. The Hopewell Visitors Center is there too. Not the best of neighborhoods, but not too bad. Secure anything you don't want wandering off from the boat if you park it here.
Candlewood Suites - 5113 Plaza Dr, Hopewell VA
Located just off 295 Ft Lee/Prince George Exit 36 W. Lots of restaurants- Denny's, Burger King, McDonalds, Shoney's, Ruby Tuesday, Waffle House, Kanpai Japanese Steakhouse. Multiple gas stations. Grocery store nearby. Fairly secure surroundings due to the area being highly traveled.
